Following the UTSF bylaws and consultation with Association Representatives, the Executive Council completed the process of forming the team that will represent UTSF in 2026 raise-pool bargaining.
- NiCole Buchanan, UTSF President and Professor of Psychology
- Musaib Ashraf, UTSF Treasurer and Associate Professor of Accounting & Information Systems
- Jane Bunnell, Professor in the College of Music
- Karthik Durvasula, Associate Professor of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures
- Satish Joshi, At-Large Board Member and Professor of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics
The team is accompanied by Gabriel Snyder, UTSF’s MEA UniServ Director, who provides professional bargaining and representation support through the Michigan Education Association.
The timeline for negotiations had not yet been determined when the team was announced. Updates on bargaining dates, proposals, and any resulting tentative agreement will be shared with members as the process develops.
Only UTSF members vote on whether to ratify a tentative agreement. Join UTSF to participate in that decision.
