Volunteer with UTSF

UTSF is always looking for volunteers. We need Association Representatives to be the voice for each unit and members for our standing committees.

Whether you have a few hours for a focused project or want to take on an ongoing role, your knowledge and relationships can make the union stronger.

Ways to participate

Find your place in the work

Every role strengthens the collective voice of tenure-system faculty and librarians at MSU.

Be the voice for your academic unit and connect colleagues directly with UTSF’s elected leadership and democratic work.

Help members steward the union’s resources and support transparent, accountable financial governance.

Support the research, preparation, and member participation that give faculty strength at the bargaining table.

Help faculty understand established procedures, identify workplace concerns, and support the union’s work defending member rights.

Help run fair, accessible elections and recruit faculty to serve as Association Representatives and union leaders.

Welcome colleagues into UTSF, strengthen participation, and help members find meaningful ways to contribute.

Help share UTSF’s work with members, the MSU community, and the public through clear and timely communications.
